JUDY WOODRUFF (Newshour): A bestselling novelist tackles the subject of protecting the president in the modern age.

But, in this case, Meltzer benefited from the helpful advice of a former president and the perspective of the Secret Service.
Jeffrey Brown sat down with Meltzer recently for our book conversation.
