SUMMARY:  The city and suburbs of Boston were put on lockdown and residents were told to stay in their homes after an early morning shootout in Watertown, Mass., between police and two bombing suspects.  One of the suspects, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed, and a police officer was killed earlier that night.  Kwame Holman reports.
