SUMMARY: The House Oversight Committee examined the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, at a hearing where several State Department staff and former members of the security team in Libya testified. Judy Woodruff reports.
JUDY WOODRUFF (Newshour): And we turn to a contentious hearing on Capitol Hill today, as lawmakers took a closer look at what happened at an American diplomatic post in Libya.
Jeffrey Brown reports.
COMMENT: "Contentious?" Now that's an under statement. A hearing in a Republican (aka anti-Obama) controlled U.S. House of Representatives, in an election year. The hearing is necessary but without the 'blame Obama' rhetoric.
