SUMMARY: A failed military coup in Turkey last July served as a turning point for government efforts to crack down on opposition groups. The coup prompted Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to declare a state of emergency and since then thousands of civil service members have been put on trial and government employees fired for being critical. Special correspondent Nick Schifrin reports.
